“Your Japanese is really good. You know a lot about Japan and business etiquette in Japan well.” This is the comment I often receive from my seniors and colleagues. I am full of gratitude to the teachers who enthusiastically supported me not only in my study but also in job hunting.
Through studying on the Japanese Business Interpreting Course, I was able to gain a realistic understanding of Japanese society, greatly improve my Japanese, and, in the end, get a job with Softes. The communication skills and wider business understanding I honed at BIL have proved to be extremely helpful.
Having had Japanese language teaching experience in Vietnam, my goal was to improve the teaching skills. BIL made it possible because its curriculum was for non-native Japanese speakers to become Japanese language teachers, and so I felt very reassured in my study.
I chose BIL because I have been interested in the Japanese language education. In the course, I learned not only the teaching methods but also deepened my understanding of the language from studying Japanese culture, geography and more. “My students” will definitely enjoy this wealth of knowledge.
